Just made my way home in central Vermont. FUCK ALL THAT.

Most folks here have snow tires and way above average skills. Usually, snowy weather is ho-hum. Today was way different. Usually, we say it's too cold to snow when it's below 10 degrees or so. It happens, but the lack of humidity makes any real accumulation unlikely. Not today. The plows have done a good job of keeping up for the most part, but it is near zero and it's just slippery as murder. I was driving on a stretch of highway that appeared clear, as the traffic had blown most of the snow off the travel lane. Wrong. A little vague highspeed mini-fishtail was enough to snap me out of my complacency. The roads were coated in this evil pixie dust/ice sand. Saw my first jackknifed truck in quite a while up here. Usually those Quebecois truckers have a hard time keeping it under 80 in any conditions.

Be easy on the throttle and tiller out there kids. Slower is faster.

That being said...hoon away as conditions permit you magnificent bastards.
